The JGA team provided advisory services to a debtor engaged in the trade of nutritional products and dietary supplements in the proceedings for initiating restructuring. Having analysed the legal and economic situation of the debtor’s company, the decision was made to file an application for the opening of restructuring proceedings under the summary arrangement proceedings. JGA’s advisory scope included the preparation of the restructuring application along with a preliminary restructuring plan, which involved analysing the causes of the debtor’s economic situation, an initial description and overview of the planned restructuring measures, and outlining their implementation schedule. Moreover, arrangement proposals were prepared, outlining the division of creditors into five categories, deferral of payment dates, and partial reduction of the debt.
Following the review of the restructuring application, the Court, during a closed hearing, launched the summary restructuring proceedings. As a result, the debtor was granted the opportunity to negotiate with creditors to reach an arrangement beneficial to all parties involved.
