On 22 May 2020, the District Court of Katowice-Wschód in Katowice, specifically the 10th Commercial Division, opened the arrangement proceedings for TRADE-PORT sp. z o.o., a company based in Katowice. The court appointed licensed restructuring advisor Adrian Dzwonek of JGA Legal and Tax Advisory as the court supervisor in these proceedings.
It is worth noting that initially, the company was declared bankrupt. However, as a result of a complaint, the case was remanded for reexamination. During that time, the debtor and creditors, with the involvement of Adrian Dzwonek, reached an agreement that opening restructuring proceedings for the company would be a more favorable solution for all parties involved.
As a result of the professional and practical legal advice provided by Adrian Dzwonek, the debtor and creditors representing 30% of the receivables covered by the arrangement supported the application for his appointment as the court supervisor in this proceeding.
